New Delhi: The Central Government has taken a big decision today on the issue of infrastructure. In the virtual cabinet meeting held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, the government has given its approval for Phase-2 of Intra State Transmission System Green Energy Corridor. Under which 12 thousand crores will be spent. Union Minister Anurag Thakur gave this information in a press conference.
With this, the Union Minister further informed that, “A Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between India and Nepal for the construction of a bridge over the Mahakali River, which will help the people living in Uttarakhand (Dharchula) and Nepal region.”
Will be built in seven states
Thakur said, “Today, in the cabinet meeting under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Phase-2 of Intra State Transmission System Green Energy Corridor has been approved today. About Rs 12,000 crore will be spent on this project. This will lead to construction of 10750 circuit kilometer transmission line.
He said, “In Phase-II, 10750 circuit kilometer transmission lines will be constructed in 7 states namely Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan. About 80% work of Phase-I has been completed.
Playing with PM’s security is a serious matter
The Union Cabinet has termed the lapse in the security of Prime Minister Modi as a matter of serious concern. The Union Minister said, “There was a big lapse in the security of the Prime Minister in Punjab yesterday. Some people have also gone to the Supreme Court in this matter, the Ministry of Home Affairs has also sought a report. The judicial system of the country gives justice to all.”
