Ranchi : Ranchi Mayor Dr. Asha Lakra laid the foundation stone of four schemes in Ranchi Municipal Corporation area. These schemes include three schemes to be built from the Mayor fund and two schemes to be built from the allocated amount under the 15th Finance Commission. Under the schemes to be constructed from the Mayor’s fund, RCC drain will be constructed from Birsa Munda’s house to Masna Ghat at a cost of Rs 14,16,200 in Ward-31.
The boundary wall of Akhara, located in Azad Hind Nagar under Ward-26, will be constructed at a cost of Rs 2.50 lakh. In Ward-17, PCC road will be constructed near Vimla Bhagat’s house near Dangra Toli Chowk at a cost of Rs 2.50 lakh. Apart from this, paver blocks will be installed around the hill temple at a cost of Rs 90 lakh in Ward 29 with the allocated amount from the 15th Finance Commission. Similarly, bituminous road improvement work will be done from Neem Chowk to Sarna Sthal Gaus Nagar via Secretariat Colony from Indira Palace Hinoo in Ward-49 at a cost of 1.17 crore.
