Samudrapur (No.). Demand is being made to make independent lanes for two wheelers on Chandrapur and Nagpur roads from Jam. National and state highways are being made strong and smooth for transport of vehicles across the country. But there is no specific lane available for two wheelers on these national and state highways, due to which the danger of two wheelers getting hit by large vehicles remains.
Every year lakhs of people die in road accidents on national and state highways across the country, mostly two-wheelers. Sometimes the entire family becomes a victim of an accident, then the head of the family, which creates a crisis on the entire family, demands for making separate lanes for two wheelers on Nagpur and Chandrapur routes from jam Ibadul Hasan Siddiqui to Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari in the memorandum submitted.
A large number of people are handicapped in road accidents
According to the information given in the Lok Sabha, in the year 2020, in this way more than 5 lakh road accidents happened every year. In this, more than one and a half lakh people died. Over one lakh have been disabled, in which 65 percent of the two wheeler riders in the age group of 19 to 35 were included. To curb such accidents, special and separate lanes should be prepared for two wheelers on national and state highways adjacent to the main road. Accidents often occur due to large vehicles moving in front or behind. As a result, many people lose their lives, many families are badly affected by this. With such an arrangement, the two wheeler driver can move freely in his lane. Evidence of accidents on highways can be reduced to a great extent.
Heavy traffic on Jam to Chandrapur and Nagpur route
Where toll is collected on four lanes, such arrangements have been made in such toll points. This arrangement is limited only to a few meters of the toll naka. After this, big vehicles and small vehicles run together on the wide road. Some youth do not deter themselves from putting their lives and others’ lives at risk by doing stunts at such times. With separate two-wheeler lanes, the transportation of vehicles on national and state highways will be smooth. Otherwise, the number of people who die in road accidents every year will increase in the same way. The number of accidents of two wheelers has increased day by day on the Jam to Chandrapur and Nagpur routes, hence the demand for a special lane has been made to the Union Minister Gadkari.
