Two individuals are useless after they apparently crashed a dust bike on a public road in Wareham late Saturday evening.
According to the State Police, officers from the Wareham Police Department had been despatched to Marion Road simply earlier than 11 p.m. to a report a dust bike had struck a passenger automotive.
“Upon arrival, police and emergency personnel located two male victims unresponsive in the roadway with apparent serious injuries. Both were transported to Tobey Hospital where they were pronounced dead of their injuries,” Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz’s workplace stated in an announcement.
The District Attorney’s Office recognized the victims as 17-year-old Robert Stalker, of Woburn, and 20-year-old Brady Petrucci, of Raynham.
According to Cruz’s workplace an preliminary investigation reveals the pair had been killed after the motorcycle they had been each using, which was being operated at evening with none form of lighting, struck an SUV making an attempt to show off of Marion Road.
“The victims were riding on a Kawasaki dirt bike and were not wearing helmets. There were no front or rear lights on the dirt bike. Preliminarily, it appears the pair on the dirt bike crashed into an operator in a 2017 Buick Envision who was taking a left turn onto Gibbs Road,” the District Attorney’s Office stated.
The driver of the Buick stopped instantly and stayed on the scene of the crash, in line with the District Attorney’s Office, who stated the investigation is ongoing.
