On behalf of Thane Traffic Police Department, on 14 and 15 February 2022, a campaign was launched against the drivers who broke the rules on behalf of the department. A total of 1502 drivers were fined 11 lakh 75 thousand 200. In this, 1 lakh 91 thousand 200 was recovered from 818 drivers who did not wear seatbelts and 9 lakh 84 thousand from 1684 people who were driving without helmet and sitting behind them.
