New Delhi: 20 years ago on this day i.e. on 13th December 2001, there was a terrorist attack on Parliament House (2001 Indian Parliament Attack), the holy temple of democracy in Delhi. Whose India had shook. Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s government was in the country when this attack took place. Simultaneously, the winter session of Parliament was going on. On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the attack on Parliament House, many leaders including President Ram Nath Kovind, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh paid tribute to the martyrs. .
President Ram Nath Kovind said that I pay tribute to the brave security personnel who laid down their lives defending the Parliament of the world’s largest democracy against terrorist attack on this day in 2001. The nation will always be grateful to him for his supreme sacrifice.
