Pune: Pune Police has made Tight Police Arrangements regarding the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Two and a half thousand police will be deployed in the city on Sunday. This includes State Reserve Protection Force (SRPF) and 2 thousand 200 policemen. Along with this, strong arrangements have been made by the police at their departure route, meeting, inauguration and ceremony venue along with the central part of the city.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Pune on Sunday to inaugurate the development works of Pune Municipal Corporation. They will reach Lohgaon Airport by plane on the morning of 6th March. After this, the chopper will reach Shivaji Nagar Irrigation Bhawan. After this, Garware will go to the college by road.
Meeting at MIT College Campus
From here he will join the program of Metro to Anand Nagar. His meeting will be held here on the MIT College campus. After the completion of the program here, they will come back to Irrigation Bhawan. From here they will go to Lovele with a chopper. Prime Minister Modi will be in Pune for four to five hours.

Three companies of Force One will be deployed
Officers of the rank of Special Inspector General of Police in the city, three DCPs, 16 Assistant DCPs have been assigned to assist the Pune Police. State Reserve Police, three companies of Force One will be deployed. The traffic department has made arrangements on its behalf. The settlement is being reviewed continuously by Police Commissioner Amitabh Gupta, Joint Police Commissioner Dr. Ravindra Shisve, DCP Bhagyashree Navatke of Special Branch.
Many important traffic diversions
Parts of Karve Road and Paud Road have been closed for vehicular movement between 10 am and 2 pm in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Pune city on Sunday. Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Rahul Srirame has issued an order in this regard. The flow of traffic on these roads has been diverted to alternate routes. In view of the main function from Garware College to Anand Nagar Metro Junction, as per the order of DCP Shrirame, no vehicles are allowed between Khandoji Baba Chowk and Shivtirth Nagar between 10 am to 2 pm. Vehicles traveling from Karve Road towards Kothrud have been diverted at Tilak Chowk and from there will be diverted towards Karishma Society via Dandekar Bridge or Mhatre Bridge DP Road. Vehicles coming from Shivtirth Nagar towards Deccan area have been diverted towards Mayur Colony.
