Bhandara, The carcass of a tiger was found in a canal in Bapera of Tumsar tehsil. The post-mortem of the tiger carcass was conducted on April 1 as per the standard procedure of the National Tiger Conservation Authority. He was probably roaming in search of his territory. In which there was a conflict with the local tiger. Due to which he was seriously injured. Due to serious injuries, he could not juggle food and he died of hunger.

The internal organs samples of the tiger are being sent to the forensic medical laboratory in Nagpur for further examination. Other possibilities are being explored by the Forest Department. A detailed investigation of the area is being done by the field staff. The matter is being investigated by Deputy Conservator of Forests Naka Dongri and Assistant Conservator of Forests and Gadegaon Depot under the guidance of Deputy Conservator of Forests and Chief Conservator of Forests Nagpur Ranganath Naikde.
