Pimpri: Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Commissioner Rajesh Patil has decided to curb the open dumping of garbage, debris etc. in the open plot. In this episode, it has been decided to punish for dumping garbage on any vacant land in Pimpri-Chinchwad. According to this, a fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed against the person or establishment who throws small quantity of garbage and Rs 25,000 on those who throw garbage on a large scale.
Various measures are being taken by the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation to maintain cleanliness in the city. Punitive action is also being taken against those who spread filth. However, there are vacant plots in different parts of the city where garbage is often dumped. Therefore, it has become necessary to take punitive action against persons and establishments who throw garbage in such vacant plots or cause it. Due to this, the municipal administration has decided to throw garbage in the open plot and impose fine.

An order has been issued by the Municipal Corporation that all vacant plots in the city, unhygienic plots in the plot should be cleaned immediately by all the plot holders. If any person is found throwing garbage in any vacant plot, action will be taken against him. A fine of Rs 5,000 will be imposed against a person or establishment who throw small quantities of garbage and Rs 5,000 to 25,000 for large-scale dumping of garbage. Simultaneously, since it is the sole responsibility of the land owner to ensure that there is no unhygienic condition in the vacant plots, Commissioner Rajesh Patil has warned of penal action against the owners.
