Ranchi : In the Performance Evaluation Course in association with France-based Insa Renn Vishwavidyalaya, three students of Sarla Birla Vishwavidyalaya, Ranchi, established a record in the field of education by achieving success. International Course Performance Assessment Course – launched by Insa Ren Vishwavidyalaya France on 6th October 2021, in which three students of Computer Science and Engineering Final Year of Sarala Birla University (SBU) are awarded to Akash Gautam, Raman Kumar Choudhary and Kumari Anjali Agarwal respectively. was enrolled for the course. It was an international course of 26 credit hours.
Head of International Relations Division of Sarla Birla Vishwavidyalaya Prof. s. B. Dandin had selected these three students through the selection process for the said course. The main instructor of the course was Professor Nikos Parlavantzas from INSA Rennes University, France.

The topics that were focused during the course included Experiment Designing, Data Presentation, Performance Patterns, Monitoring Tools, Operational Analysis, Queue Theory, Amdahl’s Law, Gustafson-Barsis’ Law and Simulation etc. In which as a project, students were given information on how to compare and analyze the performance of two different databases. A group of three students was formed in the project, in which two students Insa Rennes from France and one from SBU, India.
Kumari Anjali compared the performance of Cassandra and SkylaDB, while Aakash compared and evaluated OpenFS vs OpenVis and Raman worked with Nginx and Caddy. The syllabus exam was conducted on December 8, 2021 in which the students were tested on practical approach. The performance of the students of the university in the said course was commendable. The students got good knowledge from the syllabus and hence also got good result of the course.
On this occasion, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Gopal Pathak has praised the talent and work of the students of the University and wished them all the best for their bright future. The Registrar, Professor Vijay Kumar Singh expressed happiness and praised the work of the International Relations Division of the University.
