Three activists of a Hindu organization, who are raising funds for the construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, were attacked in the Karnataka capital Bengaluru on Friday. Members of the Hindu organization said that they had left for Guruppanapalya from their vehicles to raise funds for the temple. There were posters of Lord Rama on the vehicles. During this, some people attacked him when he stopped at a petrol pump to fill oil. Let us know that Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed Bhumi Pujan and Shila Pujan on 5 August last year in Ram Janmabhoomi.
According to News18, one member alleged that he was stopped by four to five locals, followed by a furore between the two groups which later escalated and led to stones from both sides. After a while the situation was brought under control when the locals intervened. Bangalore South BJP general secretary V Sudarshan told News18 that we have been raising funds from door to door for the past 15 days. Now our workers were injured in this incident. He said that we have lodged a complaint with the police.
Sudarshan has said that we have told the police that if the culprits are not arrested within 24 hours then we will sit on the dharna at the police station. He said that we will identify the culprits. Our government is in power and we are hopeful that action will be taken against the culprits. In this case, police have registered an FIR against 40-50 unknown people.
