Mumbai: A huge stock of drugs worth Rs 3 crore 18 lakh, brought for the New Year’s party in Mumbai, has been confiscated. The drugs were brought in for the December 31st party. Three African citizens have been arrested in connection with the case. The Anti Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police has taken this action. This action was taken under the guidance of Joint CP Milind Bharambe of Crime Branch and Datta Nalawade, Deputy Commissioner of Police.
Bandra Anti Narcotics Cell officials spotted an African man walking suspiciously in BKC area of Bandra. When they interrogated him in custody, 105 cocaine and 120 grams of ephedrine drugs were found from him. According to the police, the name of the arrested accused is eBay Mike. During his police interrogation, the accused gave the names of his two other accomplices and he told the police that two of his African accomplices used to sell drugs with him.

Two accused arrested from Chembur
On the spot of the arrested accused, the police reached the Vashi Naka area of Chembur, an important gateway to enter Mumbai. From there the police arrested two more African nationals. Their names are Odiffe and Mande. During the search, a huge quantity of narcotics was also recovered from them. All three were found to contain 225 grams of cocaine, 1500 grams of mephedrone and 235 grams of MDMA. Police said that the cost of all these drugs is Rs 3 crore 18 lakh. This is a big action of the de-addiction department.
