It is too late for the third wave of COVID-19 to arrive in the country. According to the report of ICMR, the third wave of corona in India can come by December. Dr. NK Arora of the Center’s COVID-19 Working Group said that now we have six to eight months to vaccinate everyone.
Fear of third wave from new variants of Corona
He said that the COVID-19 Delta Plus variant has raised a new concern about this. Waves of corona are being linked to new variants and new mutations. Delta Plus is the new variant. But through this the possibility of a third wave will also remain. Although this wave will depend on two to three things. With the introduction of the Delta Plus variant, the risk of a third wave of COVID-19 is also increasing continuously. But experts say it can be avoided. In countries where 20 percent of the population has been vaccinated, the third wave has not reached. In a modeling study by scientists from ICMR and Imperial College London, it has been said that even if the third wave comes, it will not be as deadly as the second wave.
