In the last 24 hours, 5,956 new cases of corona have been reported in the city, while 12 infected have died. At the same time, more than 15 thousand people have been cured. This information was given by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Monday.
According to BMC, after 7,956 new cases of corona and death of 12 patients in 24 hours of corona in Mumbai, the total number of infected has increased to 1,005,818. While the death toll has reached 16,469.

At the same time, 15,551 people have recovered from this dangerous virus. With this, the number of people recovering from corona has increased to 9,35,934. The recovery rate in the city has been recorded at 93 percent today. At present there are 50,757 active patients in the city.

According to the BMC, out of the new patients found in Mumbai, 4,944 patients (83%) are asymptomatic, while 479 patients have been admitted to the hospital. Out of which 45 have required oxygen. Currently 2,493 patients are on oxygen. While a total of 5,628 patients are being treated in the hospital. At present there are 38,140 beds in Mumbai, out of which 32,512 beds are vacant.
Corona test of 47,574 people has been done in Mumbai today. So far 146,70,104 samples have been tested here.
