Nagpur, Students who came to study from Gadchiroli took the wrong path to fulfill their hobbies in the glare of the city. 6 two wheelers were stolen from different areas. In small villages of Gadchiroli, stolen vehicles were sold at throwaway prices. During patrolling, the Sakkardara police caught him roaming around in a stolen vehicle. The arrested accused include Sanket alias Raju Patiram Madavi (20), Neeraj Anand Kirange (21) and Avish Punaji Sakhre (21).
Sanket is studying Aviation Management. Neeraj is in third year of BBA while Avish is pursuing BSc in Gadchiroli itself. Police saw Sanket and Neeraj going on a two-wheeler in Budhwari Bazar complex of Sakkardara. They were stopped and questioned about the car. When he did not get a satisfactory answer, he was taken to the police station. There both confessed to stealing 6 vehicles from Sakardara, Ajni, Nandvan and Dhantoli police station areas.
On inquiring about the vehicles, Avish’s name was told. With the help of Avish, the stolen vehicles were sold in a small village of Gadchiroli. The police took all three into custody. On his behest, all 6 vehicles were confiscated.
This action was taken under the guidance of DCP Nurul Hasan and ACP Pundalik Bhatkar Inspector Dhananjay Patil, Hrishikesh Ghadge, API Vijay Kasodhan, Head Constable Rajendra Yadav, Prakash Wankhede, Chandrakant Kodape, Constable Vidyadhar Pavanikar, Pawan Lambat, Yogesh Duff, Praveen Dhumane, Manod Dwivedi, Govind Deshmukh, Kishore Hate, Kapil Raut, Ashish Dhandar and Deepak Tarhekar performed.
