Ranchi : There is going to be a big change in the weather in Jharkhand from Sunday. Light to moderate rain will occur over Northwest and adjoining central part. Amidst the possibility of rain for five days, the Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert of thunder and thunder. For the next 72 hours, there will be fog at some places in the state.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the influence of Western Disturbance active in North India, cyclonic circulation has started forming in Rajasthan from Friday. The effect of which will be visible in the surrounding areas including Palamu division of Jharkhand from January 9. On January 9, there may be rain in Daltonganj, Garhwa, Latehar, Lohardaga, Chatra, Koderma and other nearby areas including Ranchi in the central part.

Increase in minimum temperature by two to four degrees Celsius
On January 10, rain may occur at many places in the northern and central parts, on January 11 and 12 and at some places in the state on January 13. According to the weather forecast, the minimum temperature will increase by two to four degrees Celsius during the next three to four days. Thereafter no major change in temperature is expected. On Saturday, the minimum temperature in Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Ramgarh and Bokaro will be between 10 to 11 degree 4 degree Celsius and in the rest of the district 12 to 13 degree Celsius.
