Akola. The school is closed for the last two years, causing huge loss to the students. Meanwhile, after the announcement by Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad that the school bell will ring from Monday, January 24, a new consciousness has been created in the field of students and education. Meanwhile, in Akola, Buldana and Washim districts, information has been received from the sources that the Education Department is fully prepared to start the school.
Prior to this, schools that started in November were closed in the second month in view of the increasing spread of corona and then the threat of Omicron. Meanwhile, due to the introduction of online education system in the city, students from rural areas are being deprived of education. This brought the school-dependent economy to a standstill. During this, movements were made by various organizations to start the school.
Requests were submitted to the Chief Minister, Education Minister through the District Magistrate. Taking this into consideration, the government had to review the situation and take a decision to start the school. On the orders of the District Magistrate, the Education Department is planning to start the school at the local level.
No circular received yet

As soon as the circular is received, it will be implemented as per the orders of the government and administration under the guidance of the Education Officer. Dilip Tayde, Deputy Educational Officer
Our preparation to start school
We are ready to start the school as per the order of the government. Presently we are taking common exam for class 10th students. The school is also preparing for the board exam. Therefore, there is no problem if there is a government order to start the school. Schools will be started following COVID rules. Madhav Munshi, Principal, New English High School
Decision to start school welcome
It is learned that the government has decided to reopen the school. So this decision is welcome. Because students are tired of online studies. Schools were reopened after two years, but as the spread of COVID increased, so did the schools. But now there is an expectation that the students should get proper education. -Ajay Laharia, Spinach
