Yavatmal, The accused Sheikh Ahfaz Sheikh Abrar alias Appu 22, who shot and killed Dr. Hanumant Dharmakare, the medical superintendent of the government hospital in Umarkhed city on January 21, has finally been arrested by the local crime branch police. After gathering information, Ahfaz was arrested in Dhar city of Madhya Pradesh. He was dodging the police for almost 24 days after the murder.
Earlier, the police had arrested the main accused in the Dr. Dharmakare case, Ahfaz’s maternal uncle, Syed Tausif Syed Khaleel, Syed Mushtaq Syed Khaleel, Shaikh Homseen Shaikh Qayyum, Shaikh Shahrukh Shaikh Alam, all of them were arrested in this murder case. It was revealed in the police investigation that some time ago the elder brother of the main accused Ahfaz was injured in the accident after he was admitted to the government hospital north of Umarkhed, during the treatment, the accused had a dispute with Dr. Hanumant Dharmakare and tried to kill him. was threatened.
During this, the accused had also given to Dr. Dharmakare to take revenge for the death of the brother of the accused, due to which he was murdered by the accused by shooting them with a revolver by conspiring and keeping an eye on Dr. Dharmakare. After the incident, there was a lot of tension in the city of Umarkhed, as well as doctors, businessmen and social organizations protested in Umarkhed and other areas, demanding the arrest of the accused in this case and strict punishment.
Keeping in mind the seriousness of the matter, the police was searching for the main accused with great enthusiasm. After which the main accused Sheikh Ahfaz alias Appu was brought to Umarkhed by the LCB squad from Dhar in custody. The police gave such information where he would be presented in the court.
