Kharif was sown in more than 9 lakh hectares of cultivated area in the ongoing crop season in the district. From the month of June to August, the district received relief rains, due to which the crops were in good condition, but after that, during the month of September to October, heavy rains, heavy rains and withdrawal rains wreaked havoc in the district, ruining the Kharif crop on a large scale. . Due to this adverse effect on crop production, there was a significant decline in production.
Due to this the farmers of the district have been engulfed in worry and financial crisis. But before the last, the revenue administration ignored and improved more than 50 paise, which raised questions on government relief and convenience to the farmers. It has come out, in this, 46 paise in the mandals of cotton, soybean and sorghum crop production and in 113 villages Paiswari has not been able to come out.
These include a total of 113 villages of Yavatmal, Kalamb, Babhulgaon, Arni, Digras, Pus, Umarkhed, Mahagaon, Kelapur, Ghatanjiralegaon, Wani Maregaon and Jhari Jamani. Ghatanji, Zhari Jamani and Ralegaon tehsils have recorded 48 paise and Arni, Darvha, Kelapur, Wani, Maregaon 48 paise in these 5 tehsils.

With the issuance of less than 50 percent of the final Annwari in the revenue circles of the district, farmers will be able to get government facilities and benefits during the famine. In this, restructuring of agricultural loans taken at cooperative level, including exemption in land revenue, ban on recovery in farm loan cases, more than 33 percent exemption in electricity bill for the year issued on agricultural pumps, farmers’ schools, examinations of college-going children, Waiver of education fee, relaxation in the standards of works of employment guarantee scheme, ban on disconnecting electricity connections of agricultural pumps.
