A particular NIA court docket in Kolkata on Friday sentenced Mohd Mosiuddin alias Musa, accused of plotting ISIS-style chilling execution of foreigners, to life imprisonment.
Musa was arrested from a passenger practice in West Bengal’s Burdwan in July 2016 by the state CID, following which the NIA had taken over the probe into the matter.
Chief Judge Siddhartha Kanjilal sentenced Musa to life imprisonment after discovering him responsible of conspiring to wage conflict towards the federal government of India and accumulating males and weapons for the aim.
According to a cost sheet filed earlier by NIA, Musa was plotting ISIS-style chilling execution of foreigners, particularly these from the US, Russia and the UK, visiting the Mother House in Kolkata.

NIA mentioned that it has proof of his having purchased an enormous knife to commit the fear crimes.
The cost sheet had alleged that Musa mentioned plans for conducting such assaults on the Mother House, which is frequented by foreigners from the US, Russia and the UK.
He wished them killed because the governments of their international locations had bombarded ISIS in Syria and Libya, the cost sheet alleged.
A .38 bore six-chamber revolver, three rounds of ammunition, a knife, a cell phone and different incriminating articles have been seized throughout Musa’s arrest.
Subsequently, a laptop computer and a sword have been seized from his home at Tiruppur in Tamil Nadu.
Musa, who had been questioned in a Kolkata jail by the FBI for his hyperlinks with ISIS, can be accused of murderous assaults on jail employees on two events.
He is accused of slashing the throat of a staffer of the Alipore Correctional Home with a knife in 2017. Again in 2020, he allegedly attacked one other warder with a pipe at Presidency Correctional Home.
