Bandits Attack in Nigeria: Bandits the attack in Nigeria, 10 people have died in the northeastern region of Nigeria. These include three soldiers. Witnesses gave information about the incident on Wednesday. Villagers have told the news agency AFP that some men with weapons had come suddenly to Kabasa village in Jamfara State. After which they started firing on the residents. Saminu Osman, a resident of Kabasa Village, said, “Bandits have killed seven people in the village.”
Usman said, “Three soldiers have also died in a fight with the bandits.” Soldiers came here from nearby Magami city to stop the attackers. Another resident Bube Badamasi has given the number of dead to 10. In recent years, bandits in the northwest and central regions of Nigeria have carried out a variety of crimes. These crimes include kidnapping for ransom, rape and robbery. There has been a significant increase in crimes in the last few years.
Ever increasing terror
Jamfara’s Information Commissioner Ibrahim Dosara has confirmed the attack on the village but has not confirmed the total number of dead. This state is badly affected by bandits, while the government is doing everything possible to stop the violence. Bandits are said to be groups associated with crime, who roam here freely. Last month, 279 schoolgirls were massacred from a hostel located in Jangibi village. These girls were released after several days of conversation.
39 students still in captivity
Apart from this, 39 students were kidnapped from nearby Kaduna state last week and they have not been released yet. Earlier in April 2014, 276 girls were abducted by jihadist rebels of Boko Haram from a secondary school in Chibok, Borno state. 100 girls are still missing.
