Patna. Tej Pratap Yadav, the eldest son of former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has claimed threat to his life. On Monday, a letter was written to the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and the Director General of Police of Bihar, demanding to provide Y category security for himself.
In a letter to the Union Minister and Director General of Police Tej Pratap, MLA from Hasanpur has said, “At present I am residing at 2M, Strad Road, Patna. In the past, I have also held the post of cabinet minister of Bihar government. Thousands of people come to meet me every day and from time to time I have to go to the Naxalite areas of the state and other areas to solve the problems of the people. Recently, there was a ruckus at my residence by some anti-social elements and death threats were also made. Therefore, it is requested that from the security point of view, I may be kindly provided with Y category security.

It is worth noting that around 6:30 pm on Sunday evening, about ten people attacked Tej Pratap’s official residence. During this there was also a fight. Not only this, the attackers also threatened to kill Tej Pratap’s aide Srijan Swaraj. After which Srijan complained about the incident to the Secretariat police station.
