The Labor Department should prepare a proposal at its level and present it to the Department of Textiles. Start the thread preparation department in the mill and the thread manufacturing department on priority. Minister of State for Labor Bachchu Kadu gave instructions to complete the necessary process in this direction on Monday.

On Monday, a meeting was held in the rest house on the subject of starting Finlay Mill and providing arrears of wages to the workers. In which Assistant Labor Commissioner Prashant Mahale, District Industries Center General Manager Uday Puri, Deputy Administrator Girish Sangle, Government Labor Officer Rahul Kale, Dharmendra Pimplewar, Finlay Mill General Manager Amit Kumar Singh, Factory Manager Sandeep Kumar Vishwas were present. The mill is closed from April 2021 during the Corona period. 50 percent salary is being given to the workers by the administration of the mill, but full salary should be provided to the workers during the mills are closed. For this, the Minister of State Kadu instructed the mill administrator to present a proposal for their establishment.
Mill has 827 workers
Workers should be given benefits of schemes and services under the Kamgar Kalyan Yojana. Workers have an invaluable contribution in the development process. Minister of State Kadu instructed them to follow up by presenting the necessary proposals. Including permanent workers, transferred workers and other employees, 827 workers are employed in Finale Mill. Instructions have been given to give service facilities to the workers, gift house under convenience, medical service, accident insurance, salary from the bank like minimum wage to the workers and the benefit of the Workers Welfare Fund Scheme from time to time.
Make a proposal to provide employment to the handicapped
Prepare a format for providing employment to the handicapped. Employment opportunities should be made available to the handicapped in the field based on their art skills. The Minister of State gave instructions to the concerned officers to prepare a proposal in this direction. Official work literature prepared by 300 to 400 disabled persons in the district should be procured by all government offices. District Women and Child Welfare Officer Dr. Umesh Tekade and department heads of other departments were present in the meeting held to provide employment to the disabled.
