It is seen every year that Nylon Manja is widely used by kite lovers, hence the Devaj Group here has issued a memorandum to the Police Inspector demanding action against the sellers of such manja.

Many people are selling nylon manja in public places or at home instead of in shops at night to attract the attention of the administration. Consequently, the ‘return’ of nylon manja in the backdrop of Makar Sankranti has also increased the risk of accidents.

In some parts of the city, nylon manja is being given to customers wrapped in paper or bags. Black marketing is coming to the fore due to the sight of manja in the streets and in the hands of children. Therefore, Yogesh Londhe, chairman of Devaj Group and office bearers have demanded in a memorandum that nylon manja should be banned and action should be taken against those selling this manja.
