Subhash Chandra Bose Jayanti: The country is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose today i.e. on Sunday, January 23, 2022. On this occasion, his hologram statue will be installed at India Gate, which will be unveiled by the Prime Minister of the country, Narendra Modi. PM Modi will unveil the hologram statue of Netaji at 6 pm today. This statue of Netaji is being installed as a token of gratitude towards the great son of the country. A granite statue of Netaji is to be installed here, but till it is ready, a hologram statue is being installed here.
PM Modi has announced that a granite statue of Subhas Chandra Bose will be installed at India Gate. The granite statue of Netaji will be 28 feet high and six feet wide and will be installed in the pavilion that once housed the statue of King George V and which was removed in 1968.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister had said, “At a time when the country is celebrating the 125th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, I am happy to share with you that a grand statue of him made of granite will be installed at India Gate. It will be a symbol of the nation’s gratitude towards them. Until the granite statue of Netaji is ready, a hologram statue will be installed there.
A statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office said that PM Modi will present the Subhash Chandra Bose Aapda Prabandhan Puraskar for the years 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2023 at the event organized on the 125th birth anniversary of Bose. A total of 7 awards will be given in this ceremony.
