Patna. The candidates who appeared in the Railway Recruitment Board’s Non-Technical Popular Category Examination 2021 (RRB NTPC Exams 2021) protested against the result at Patna Railway Station on Monday, affecting rail service. Hui. The candidates alleged that the board increased the cut off for the exam, affecting many candidates and selecting less than the promised candidates. Moreover, the same candidate was selected for multiple posts.
Protest lasted for five hours
The candidates staged a sit-in on the railway track to stop the movement of trains for nearly five hours. Meanwhile, a police team was sent to the protest site to disperse the protesters and resume the hours-long train operation.

Action will be taken against the main culprits
Talking to news agency ANI, Patna District Magistrate (DM) Dr Chandrashekhar Singh said, “They (protesters) stopped the train for about 5 hours. This is not the way to solve any issue. We will take action against the main culprits and register a case against them. We have removed the protesters from the railway station.”
Selection of graduates instead of 10th and 12th pass
It is to be mentioned that RRB NTPC candidates said that more than 75 lakh candidates took the exam. Out of which only 2.5 lakh candidates qualified for the next round level, most of them are graduates instead of 10th and 12th pass.
