Mumbai: ST Employees have been adamant on strike for 56 days demanding merger. In rural areas, the common people are shocked by the stopping of the wheels of ST buses, which are called the lifeline of the state. A game of “till 56” has started between ST employees and the state government. Despite all the efforts of the government and warnings of MESMA, ST employees not withdrawing their agitation is inviting a different kind of tension.
Meanwhile, the report of the merger committee was submitted to the Mumbai High Court on Monday. The hearing of the matter has been adjourned till December 22. Now both the government and the employees are bent on encountering each other.

State Transport Minister Anil Parab is continuously giving ultimatums to the striking employees, but it has not had any effect on the employees so far.
