Bhandara, Whether it is farm or space, new technology is being used along with changes in all fields. This technique is being used not only in big but also in tehsil areas of small districts. Robotic drones are being used to spray insecticides to kill the insects in the crop before the farmers who came from the era of bullock carts to till the era of tractors. By using such a method, crops can be saved from the clutches of insects in a very short time.
In Bhandara district, this method was first used as a training in Jevanala under Lakhani tehsil. The use of insecticides on crops with robotic drones was no less than a surprise for the farmers here. During this, the farmers here were trained to spray medicines on crops like fruit orchards, vegetables, paddy. Farmers have cultivated fruit orchards, vegetables on a large scale in the Jeevnala complex. Spraying of insecticides at the appropriate time in this area can save the crops from the grip of insects and diseases.
Experts say that if agricultural chemicals are used safely and on the basis of recommendation, then the crop can be saved from destruction. It is being told that if the spraying done in the form of training of robotic drone done in Jeevnala is effective then it will be used permanently. It has also been told that some farmers have appreciated this method of spraying medicine during the training itself. It has also come to the fore of the central government insisting on providing financial assistance for the purchase of robotic drones. While presenting the budget, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had mentioned that robotic drones will be used in agriculture.
2022-23 A special budget was also proposed for the purchase of drones in this financial year. Sunilav Funde, President of Bhandara District Bank, Balasaheb Sanap, President of Mauli Green Army Committee, newly elected J.P. Member Avinash Brahmankar, former ZIP member Vinayak Burde, Tehsil Agriculture Extension Officer Kishor Patrikar, Umaid District Administrator Gaurav Turkar, Tehsildar Mahesh Shitode, Sarpanch Vaishali Burde, Sarpanch Kalpana Selokar, Jitendra Chaudhary, Sandeep Hinge etc. were present. In this program conducted by Manisha Nagalwade, farmers and local people of Jeevnala and its surrounding areas were present to take spray drone training and see the methodology.
