Mumbai : Lata Mangeshkar’s favorite cricketer was Sachin Tendulkar, who loved music as well as cricket. Whenever Sachin used to score a century in the match, Lata used to bless him. Sachin also considered Lata Mangeshkar as his mother. Sachin Tendulkar paid tribute to Lata Mangeshkar at Breach Candy Hospital on Sunday.
Sachin Tendulkar along with wife Anjali Tendulkar went to pay his last respects at Shivaji Park at the time of his last rites. Condoling the death of Lata Mangeshkar, Sachin wrote on Twitter that I consider myself lucky to be a part of Lata didi’s life. He always gave me love and blessings. With his passing, a part of me feels lost. She will always live on in our hearts through her music.

Former India hockey captain Dhanraj Pillay condoled the death of Lata Mangeshkar, saying that she was such a great personality who was loved by people of all generations.
