- College and university non-teaching staff will be participants
Gadchiroli. With the aim of accelerating the dormant qualities of college and university non-teaching staff attached to the local Gondwana University, a proposal to organize a sports festival was presented by the University Employees Organization and Chandrapur-Gadchiroli District College Non-Teaching Employees Organization on behalf of Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Bokare. It has been flagged off by the Vice-Chancellor, this sports festival is going to be celebrated in the campus of Gondwana University on 26th and 27th February.
On behalf of Chandrapur-Gadchiroli District College Non-Teaching Employees Organization and Gondwana University Employees Organization, Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr. Prashant Bokare and Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shriram Kavale attached to the University for the non-teaching staff of Chandrapur and Gadchiroli districts and non-teaching staff of Gondwana University. In order to give impetus to the dormant arts, it was requested to organize a sports festival.
According to the request of the college and university non-teaching staff organization, a meeting was held recently in the university room to discuss and decide. At this time Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Bokare, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Shriram Kavle along with Dr. Anita Lokhande, Head of the Sports Department of the University, Manoj Jadhav, President of the University Employees Organization, Secretary Satish Padole, District President of College Non-Teaching Employees Organization Prashant Randai, General Secretary Arun Junghare, Working President Lomesh Darde, Federation organizer Vinod Chopawar, Federation representative Vishal Gaurkar etc. were present.
According to the discussion in the meeting, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Bokare has given permission to organize the sports festival on 26 and 27 February 2022. Due to which various sports and cultural programs are going to be organized in the premises of Gondwana University on 26th and 27th February. Preparation for planning has started for the success of the organized sports festival.
200 from different colleges, 150 such 350 such non-teaching staff of the University will present various sports and cultural arts. Gondwana University has become the first university in the state to organize the sports festival of university attached college and non-teaching staff. The officials of both the organizations have given such a call so that a large number of employees participate in the non-teaching staff sports festival.
