Lucknow : Samajwadi Party flourishes under the protection of goons, mafia and rioters. His list of candidates is a witness that no matter what happens, he will not leave the side of the criminals. This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya in a voter interaction program in Mainpuri. He said that the law and order situation was in shambles when the BJP came to power. Under the BJP rule, criminals were either in jail or in bills due to fear of law. This created an atmosphere of peace in the state and the people could live in peace.
Maurya claimed that BJP candidate from Karhal, SP Singh Baghel is going to win the election with a huge margin and the defeat of SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is certain. He said that 700 riots took place during the SP tenure, while there was a single riot in the BJP government. The government placed law and order at the top of its priority. The Deputy Chief Minister said that the SP can never return to power. People have understood him. He objected that those who had forced people to migrate from Kairana, they have been made their candidate by the SP alliance.
