China has made a Chinese army soldier the torch bearer of the Winter Olympic Games starting in its country from February 4. This Chinese soldier was injured in a violent clash with Indian soldiers in Galwan Valley. This information has been given by China’s official newspaper The Global Times itself. The special thing is that China has always denied the death or injury of any of its soldiers in the Galvan Valley. However, gradually with the passage of time, such evidence itself is coming to the fore, which shows that China has suffered a lot during the skirmish with Indian soldiers in Galvan.
The Winter Olympic Games are being organized this time in China, which will start from February 4 and will run till February 20. The Global Times reported that Regiment Commander Qi Faibao of the People’s Liberation Army has been made the torch bearer for the Winter Olympics. The newspaper further introduced Faibao, saying that he had suffered a severe head injury in a violent clash with Indian soldiers in the Galwan Valley, for which he had to stay in the hospital for several months.
Let us inform that through various reports it has been claimed that 40 Chinese soldiers were killed in the violent clashes at Galvan. A Russian state media agency has also claimed this in its report. Although China has never accepted it.

Diplomatic boycott by many countries
The Paralympics Winter Games will also be held from March 4-13, just after the Winter Olympic Games in Beijing. However, both the games have been diplomatically boycotted by many western countries including America, Britain. These countries have boycotted these games, accusing China of human rights violations in Xinjiang province.
These countries say that China has imprisoned more than one lakh Uighur Muslims in camps built in Xinjiang. The diplomatic boycott means that these countries are sending their players to China for the Games, but no diplomat will be sent with them.
Tension continues on the border between the two countries
Tension continues between India and China over the border dispute in many areas including Ladakh. So far 14 rounds of talks have been held between the two sides, but no conclusion has been reached so far. However, both the countries have spoken of resolving the issue among themselves and have opposed any third party interference.
