Pimpri : A shocking incident has come to light from Mulshi Taluka of Pune district. An investigation has revealed that a man threw a six-day-old newborn baby from Tamhini Ghat on the Pune-Mangaon road. The Paud police of Pune has arrested the accused along with his three other friends. A woman has lodged a complaint against him. After this, the police has started a search operation in the ditch after the arrest of the accused.
This shocking incident has come to the fore at Tamhini Ghat on Pune-Mangaon Road. Paud police have arrested four persons in connection with the murder of a child from Khed in Ratnagiri on Saturday morning. The child’s mother had lodged a police complaint in this regard on Friday. At present, the search is on for the child. The woman lives in Shelke Basti area, while Khed is her native village in Ratnagiri. Police said that the woman was having an affair with a 27-year-old man from here, who is one of the accused.

In a love affair, the said woman gave birth to a child on January 30 in Paud. At this time a young man belonging to the woman and his friends had come for her delivery. On the morning of February 5, the four along with the women went to Khed in Ratnagiri district. Meanwhile they stopped at a bridge in the Tamhini Ghat complex. One of the accused snatched the newborn child from the woman’s lap. Within an hour, they got back in the car and left. After not finding the child, the woman finally returned from the farm. He then decided to file a complaint with the police. On getting information about this, Paud police arrested four people including the accused and his brother and started the search for the child.
