The biggest challenge is Secure Access
According to the report, the biggest challenge was with logging so that it can be accessed safely. About 68 percent of organizations in work from home culture faced the problem of secure access. Besides, 66 percent of Indian companies faced data privacy and 62 percent faced malware protection. The way for people to leave the virus in the system is easy because all live on different networks. Working away from the office, 66 percent of office laptops-desktops and 58 percent of personal devices have faced this challenge while 42 percent of cloud applications have faced this problem.
Companies now focus on cybersecurity
The risk of infection of the corona epidemic is not over yet and no one knows how long it will continue. Virus Raman, director of Cisco India and SAARC’s security business, said that in view of this, companies are now increasing investment in cybersecurity. 31 percent of companies are now focusing on this. 84 percent of companies say that their main focus is now on cyber security.
Hybrid culture will work in future
After the Corona epidemic there has been a change in the way of working and now hybrid culture is expected in the future. More than 53 percent of the country’s companies say that they will maintain the culture of work from home for more than half of their workers even after the corona epidemic has passed. Before the onset of the epidemic, only 28 percent of the companies used to give more than half of their workers the option to work from home.
Making workers aware and educated is also a big challenge
]97 percent companies have changed their cyber security policies regarding work from home, but there is still a lot to be done. Sixty percent of companies say that implementing the changed cyber security protocol was a big challenge. Apart from this, 55 percent companies say that there is neither awareness nor information among their workers about it. According to Raman, the main goal of companies should be to make their workers aware and aware of it because they are the first security link for the future of companies.
Study in 21 countries around the world
This study has been done on 3196 IT Decision Makers from 21 countries around the world. Of this, 1900 responses were from 13 countries in the Asia Pacific, including India. It has been revealed in the report how many cyber challenges companies have faced during the work from home. The countries to be surveyed are India, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, USA, Germany, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam etc.
