Aurangabad : The statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the tallest equestrian in the country, has been installed in the city’s Kranti Chowk. A four-day Shivjagar festival has been organized by the Aurangabad unit of Shiv Jayanti in the joy of Shiv Jayanti and installation of the statue. The festival will start from Tuesday. This information was given by Shiv Sena district chief and MLA Ambadas Danve, MLA Pradeep Jaiswal, MLA Sanjay Sirsath, former mayor Nandkumar Ghodile, former mayor Tribank Tupe, former deputy mayor Rajendra Janjal in a press conference.
MLA Danve said that this festival, which will be held under the guidance of Guardian Minister Subhash Desai and party leader Chandrakant Khaire, will start with flag hoisting at Kranti Chowk on Tuesday. Especially, on these three days on 15th, 16th and 17th February, 36 Shivamshals from Aurangabad city will reach Kranti Chowk in a chariot. All the subshahar chiefs of Shiv Sena will lead this Shiv Mashal Yatra. Along with this, Mahila Aghadi, Dalit Aghadi, Minority Aghadi, Traffic Aghadi, Merchant Aghadi will take out Shivmashal Yatra independently. During the festival, every day from 10 am to 4 pm, the city’s famous Vaghavrinda Manavandana will be given. Mahabhishek and aarti of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj have been organized at 4:00 pm. Also, on the evening of February 15, there will be an oratory competition based on Shivcharitra for the students of the college. In the evening of 16 February, young Shahir Ganesh Galande will mesmerize everyone with his royalty. In the evening of February 17, there will be a lecture of famous Shivcharitra practitioner Pradeep Dada Sanluke. Along with this, on February 18, at 10 in the morning, a group of one thousand young men/girls will give Mahamanav Vandana and in the same night from 9 to 12 o’clock.
