Aurangabad: NCP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sharad Pawar recently announced a grant of Rs 2 crore to encourage professors and students for research and innovation in the Mahatma Gandhi Mission. was announced. At that time he appreciated the work done by Mahatma Gandhi Mission in service, education and research till date. The institute should produce more quality research as well as innovative initiatives. Sharad Pawar had announced a grant of Rs 2 crore to the institute for the purpose of providing financial assistance to professors and students. He immediately handed over a check of Rs 2 crore to Kamal Kishore Kadam and Ankushrao Kadam on Wednesday. A fund of Rs 1 crore has been provided by BG Shirke Construction Technology Pvt Ltd. On the other hand, Panchsheel Foundation, Pune has provided one crore rupees. The proceeds from the fund will be used to fund research and innovation activities for professors and students.
Significantly, on Saturday, MP Sharad Pawar had unveiled the foundation stone of the main administrative building of MGM University online. Then he had assured to provide financial help to MGM University.
