3 feet high from the ground
For the last one year, the work of widening the road from Riddhapur to Tivasa at a cost of Rs. 1 crore 62 lakh is starting on a war footing. This work is being done by Madhav Infra Company under the supervision of Public Works Department. Construction of drains is being done in all the villages from Riddhapur to Tivasa, but the drain is being made 3 feet high from the ground.
The villagers had to face a lot of trouble this year also due to the water coming out in the rain from these drains. In many villages, some houses have also been damaged due to non-availability of water. Regarding this issue, recently, the villagers informed the District Collector Pavneet Kaur about their problem in writing and also wrote a letter to the SP Thotange and Deputy Engineer Solanke, demanding to stop the ongoing construction work, Tehsil Efficiency Committee President Pramod Harne. through the villagers.
