Akola. A unique movement was organized by the local Shetkari Jagar Manch on February 14 for Valentine’s Day. The event was organized as per the concept of farmer leaders Prashant Gawande and Akshay Raut. In this, young men and women gathered and expressed their grievances and demands regarding agriculture, education and employment by giving greeting cards and roses to the people coming on the streets.
In this greeting card, young people have expressed their feelings about agriculture, education and employment. After this, these members of the younger generation reached the District Magistrate’s office and submitted their request to the resident Deputy District Magistrate, Prof. Sanjay Khadse, to send greeting cards and roses to the Prime Minister.
Shetkari Jagar Manch and the children of farmers came together and did this unique movement for Save My Valentine – Farming, Education and Employment on Valentine’s Day. On this occasion, youths and girls expressed this demand through agitation to save agriculture and youths should get employment. The youth demanded to secure agriculture, education and employment.

Request sent to Prime Minister
In the request sent to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on this occasion, it has been said that you had said that the income of farmers will increase significantly in the coming time, but it has not happened. Similarly, education of the children of farmers should be free till graduation, similarly supplementary industries related to agriculture should be started, you should also think about this and we should also discuss this issue once in the Parliament. Hope you will pay attention to this, in this way a detailed demand has been made from the Prime Minister in this request.
Tribute to martyr soldiers
The movement was started by paying tribute to the soldiers martyred in the Pulwama attack. All the young men and women gathered in the local Ashok Vatika and after paying tribute to the martyred soldiers, a rally was taken out till the District Magistrate’s office.
