Santa landed in Boston Sunday afternoon weeks forward of Christmas — helicoptering down into the North End Christmas Parade.
“Hello children! Merry Christmas!” Santa known as from his float touring down Commercial Wharf, echoed excited vacation greetings.
The festive annual parade kicked off by Christopher Columbus Park, the place the helicopter landed, and winded its manner across the North End streets. Locals lined the streets and frolicked of their home windows by way of the gentle Sunday afternoon.

“What a wonderful thing to come across,” stated Lily Kreeger, who stated she was doing vacation procuring when she was drawn to the carols. “And what a day for it.”
