According to the incident, Wankhede had obtained the license of a restaurant and bar in 1997. At that time he was only 17 years old, while the minimum age to get a bar license is 21 years. In this regard, an FIR was registered on Saturday night on the complaint of State Excise Department officer Shankar Gogavale. He had alleged that Wankhede was below 18 years of age in 1996-97, when he obtained the license for Sadhguru Bar. On the matter, the Thane Collector has now issued an order to cancel the license of the bar. Please tell that the ownership of Sadhguru Bar & Restaurant is currently with the Wankhede family.

According to the FIR lodged, the former zonal director of NCB was not eligible to fulfill the terms of the agreements but has also claimed himself to be the head of the agreement drawn up for the Sadhguru Hotel in Thane. However, NCP leader Nawab Malik had earlier alleged on this matter that he had a bar in Navi Mumbai, whose license he got at a very young age.
