India’s praise for ‘Operation Ganga’
Many countries of the world have expressed their inability to help their citizens trapped in Ukraine. However, India is being praised for ‘Operation Ganga’ being conducted to evacuate Indian students in war-torn Ukraine.

Asma Shafiq of Pakistan has thanked the Indian Embassy in Kyiv and Prime Minister Modi for their evacuation. Asma Shafiq was rescued by Indian authorities, who is currently en route to western Ukraine to be evacuated from Ukraine.
The new agency ANI quoted sources as saying that she would be reuniting with her family soon. Pakistani girl told that Indian Embassy helped her in getting her out of Ukraine safely. This Pakistani girl herself has given information about this by sharing a video.

According to ANI, Indian authorities have made arrangements for Asma to be safely evacuated from the war-torn area and sent to western Ukraine so that she can return to her country of Pakistan. Sources said that India has always been ready to help its citizens as compared to other countries.
China postpones its evacuation plan
China has postponed its evacuation plans, while India’s ‘Operation Ganga’ continues. India’s flights are continuously bringing back Indians stranded in Ukraine. Government sources said the US has also said that it has not been able to evacuate its citizens, who have been waiting at the Ukrainian border for a long time for evacuation through other neighboring countries.
India managed to bring back more than 17,100 citizens
Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said on Tuesday that evacuation of Indian students has started from the war-torn Ukrainian city of Sumy and students have left for Poltava city in buses. Puri told reporters that I spoke in the control room, till last night there were 694 Indian students in Sumi. All of them have left for Poltava by buses today.
Prime Minister Modi on Monday spoke to Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky over phone and discussed ways to rescue Indian students from Sumi, who were trapped there after Russia’s attack on the eastern European country. Huh. India has so far managed to repatriate over 17,100 of its citizens from war-torn Ukraine.
