A Roxbury girl is accused of serving to to orchestrate the theft the hashish dispensary the place she labored.
Prosecutors say that Jessica Lugo, 27, secured a job at 4 Corners Cannabiz on Washington Street in Dorchester beneath the title “Neveah Monroe.” On Monday, they are saying, Lugo — beneath her alleged pseudonym — instructed authorities two males held her at gunpoint and robbed the place.
Lugo was arraigned Thursday in municipal courtroom in Dorchester on a cost of armed theft. Judge Thomas S. Kaplanes set a $5,000 money bail in her case.
“This scheme unraveled pretty quickly amid solid investigative work and cooperation from store management,” Suffolk District Attorney Kevin Hayden stated in a press release. “This was not a mere crime of opportunity. This armed robbery was planned and executed in a manner that had the potential to place other employees, customers and community members at risk.”
Prosecutors say that safety footage captured two visibly armed males coming into the store after which leaving when Lugo is seen and heard gesturing to them as different folks had been within the retailer. At this time, in response to the Suffolk DA’s workplace, Lugo didn’t name the police.
The two males returned about 35 minutes later, in response to a DA assertion, and “moved through the store in a manner suggesting that they had inside knowledge of where product was stored and where to access the cash register.”

On Tuesday, Lugo instructed her managers that she was now not within the job, prosecutors say, and organized to return again on Wednesday to select up her final paycheck.
