Chandrapur, The speed of vehicles has increased since most of the roads in Chandrapur district were widened and four laned. Due to the good road, now many companies are filling overloaded goods in vehicles to transport more goods at less cost. Because of this the roads are getting worse. Along with this, there is a possibility of accident due to blinding of the eyes of the drivers of small vehicles from the headline of the vehicles. Therefore, the demand of putting a lot of film in half the headlight of the vehicles by stopping the overload transport is being made in the request given by the social worker Ibadul Hasan Siddiqui to the Superintendent of Police.
In the request, it is said that there are large scale coal mines, cement plants, power plants, industries in the district, where the road is mainly used to bring raw materials and to carry finished goods. Goods are transported by road with the help of trucks. But many transporters fill overloaded goods in vehicles for the purpose of carrying more goods at less cost.
Which is many times more than the capacity of the roads. Due to this the condition of the roads becomes bad. But the vehicle owner or transporter does not pay any attention to this. As a result, the possibility of accidents remains.
There is no black film in the headlight of vehicles
The speed of most vehicles is high during night time. Plantation has not been done on the road divider of Chandrapur Nagpur Highway and Chandrapur Ghugghus Highway. Due to this, the light of headlights of vehicles coming from both the directions falls on each other’s eyes. Because of this, there is a possibility of an accident due to blinding of the eyes of the driver. This type of accident can be avoided if a black film is put in half of the deadline of the vehicles.
transportation of coal without tarpaulin
The district has a large number of coal mines. The coal coming out of the coal mines is brought to the railway CHP bunker with the help of trucks and loaded into the wagon of the train. But it has been seen that many truck drivers transport coal covered with coal without tarpaulin. Because of this the coal keeps falling from the trucks. Similarly, a few years ago, on the original road of Chandrapur, a coal-laden truck fell on a two-wheeler driver passing by.
Due to which he was seriously injured and the two-wheeler was badly damaged. These types of incidents keep happening due to coal falling. There is also a demand for coal transportation by covering the vehicles with tarpaulins so that such incidents do not recur.
Undeclared parking zone made outside the city
Many transporters have made undeclared parking zones outside the city. Similarly, drivers park their trucks outside the city where they live. Because of this, there is a possibility of vehicle accidents. Therefore, there has been a demand to ban such undeclared parking zones.
