Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that whenever he talks about the double power of a double engine in the development of UP, some people suffer more. These are the people who saw Uttar Pradesh only through the prism of caste, religion, creed. The language of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas is also out of their syllabus, their dictionary. In his syllabus, in his dictionary, in his thinking – mafiaism, familyism. In their syllabus – illegal occupation of houses and lands.
The Prime Minister said that we are also increasing the heritage in UP, we are also developing UP, but those who think only of their own interests are not liking the development of UP. The situation is such that these people have started objecting to the development of Purvanchal, Baba Vishwanath Dham as well. Targeting the entire opposition, PM Modi said that the displeasure of these people who pushed Uttar Pradesh back decades will only increase. The way people from all over UP are blessing us and as the blessings increase. Their anger will reach the seventh heaven.

PM Modi on Thursday gifted 27 development projects worth about Rs 2095 crore, including the Amul plant in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi, to 21 lakh families of UP, along with handing over the documents of their ancestral home land “Gharauni”. In a special program, the Prime Minister released a bonus of Rs 35.2 crore to 1.74 lakh milk producers of the state, as well as launched a nationwide certification portal and logo with the aim of ensuring quality and food security of dairy products. Livestock runs the livelihood of 8 crore families
Laying the foundation stone of the latest plant of Banas Dairy, popularly known as Amul brand, the Prime Minister congratulated the livestock farmers. He said that the foundation stone of Banas Kashi Sankul which has been laid here today is also a proof of this partnership of the government and the cooperative. Today Varanasi and this entire surrounding area has again become a witness to a huge program for the villages, farmers, livestock farmers of the whole country and the whole of Uttar Pradesh. At the same time, reminding of the neglect of cattle and cattle rearers in the previous governments, he said that talking about cow in our place has become a crime by some people. The PM said that the cow can be a crime for some people, for us the cow is a mother, it is revered. Expressing the feeling of love and respect for the cow in the Indian public, he said that it was said here that there was a competition about how many pegs are on whose door. But the support that this sector should have received for a very long time was not found in the earlier governments. People who make fun of cow and buffalo forget that the livelihood of 8 crore families of the country is run by such livestock.
Strengthening the dairy sector one of the top priorities
Laying the figures in front of a huge public meeting, the PM said that today India produces milk worth about Rs 8.50 lakh crore every year. This amount is much more than the cost of wheat and rice produced in India. Reiterating his commitment towards livestock promotion, he said that strengthening India’s dairy sector is one of the top priorities of our government today. In this episode, the foundation stone of Banas Kashi Sankul has been laid here today. Our government is changing this situation across the country. The milk production in the country has increased by about 45% as compared to 6-7 years ago. Today India produces about 22% of the world’s milk. The Prime Minister also congratulated Uttar Pradesh for being the first in the country in milk production, and also said that the state is ahead in the expansion of the dairy sector.

Biogas power plant construction
The PM said that our government of double engine is supporting the farmers and livestock farmers with full sincerity and strength. On the special occasion, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of a plant to generate electricity from animal waste (dung). The Prime Minister said that today there is a great need of the country, the waste generated from the animals associated with the dairy sector, is also used properly. One such major effort is the construction of a biogas power plant near the milk plant of Ramnagar.
Farmers should adopt natural farming for the safety of future generations
While inaugurating and laying the foundation stone of various projects worth Rs 2100 crore in his parliamentary constituency, the Prime Minister also encouraged the farmers for natural farming. He said that there was a time when natural farming was done in India. Whatever is being received from the farm, is getting from the animals involved in farming, the same elements were used to increase agriculture. But with the passage of time the scope of natural farming shrunk. Calling upon the farmers, he said that for the rejuvenation of mother earth, to protect our soil, to safeguard the future of the coming generations, we must once again turn to natural farming. To promote natural farming, the government is also running a huge campaign to make farmers aware. Farmers, especially small farmers, should join natural farming.
Got home, a satisfied smile on the faces of the villagers
The Prime Minister also solved the problem of not being eligible for bank loans in the absence of documents of ancestral houses in the villages. Providing online “Gharauni” to 21 lakh families, the Prime Minister said that the Swamitva Scheme has a huge role to play in making the villages, farmers self-reliant, freeing them from illegal occupation. More than 23 lakh gharauni have been prepared in 75 districts of UP. Out of this, about 21 lakh families have been given these documents today. While inaugurating/laying foundation stone of many important projects of health, education, roads etc. in Varanasi, the Prime Minister said that how our cities can adopt a new body while maintaining the ancient identity, it is visible in Kashi. The projects whose foundation stone has been laid and dedicated today will give further impetus to the ‘Bhavya Kashi-Divya Kashi’ campaign.
