Meanwhile, 10,661 new cases of coronavirus infection have been reported in the state. While 11 people have died. Apart from this, more than 21 thousand people have been cured of corona. This information was given by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Saturday.
According to BMC, after 10,661 new cases were reported in Mumbai in the last 24 hours, the total number of infected people has increased to 9,91,967. While the death toll has reached 16,446.

At the same time, 21,474 people have recovered from this dangerous virus in Mumbai in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people who have been cured of corona virus has increased to 8,99,358. The recovery rate in the city has been recorded at 91 percent today. At present there are 73,518 active patients in the city and all are undergoing treatment.

According to BMC, out of the new patients found in Mumbai, 8,955 patients (84%) are asymptomatic, while 722 patients have been admitted to the hospital. Out of which 111 have needed oxygen. Currently 2,650 patients are on oxygen. While a total of 5,962 patients are being treated in the hospital. At present, there are 38,117 beds in Mumbai, out of which 32,155 beds are vacant.
Corona test of 54,58 people has been done in Mumbai in the last 24 hours. So far 145,64,996 samples have been tested here.
