Mumbai, The Third Wave of Corona Pandemic in Maharashtra is almost over but the danger still remains. According to the bulletin issued by the Health Department on Tuesday, 6,107 new cases of corona have been reported in the state in the last 24 hours. While 57 corona infected have lost their lives. In which maximum 35 deaths have occurred in Pune division alone.
Active patients less than one lakh
According to the Health Department, after the arrival of new cases in the state, now the cases of corona infected have increased to 78,16,243 and the death toll has increased to 1,43,155. In Maharashtra, a total of 16,035 patients were discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours, taking the number of people who were cured of this disease to 75,73,069 and the number of active patients to 96,069.

Most patients in Pune division
According to the data, 2,136 cases of corona infection have been reported in Pune division. After this, 1048 new cases have been registered in Nashik division, 1,033 in Nagpur division, 868 in Mumbai division, 360 in Akola, 229 in Kolhapur division, 250 in Aurangabad division and 183 in Latur division. Recovery rate in Maharashtra today is 96.89 percent and The death rate was recorded at 1.83 percent.

No new case of Omicron has been reported in the state on Tuesday. So far, 3,334 patients of this variant have been found infected in the state. Out of which 2,043 people have been defeated by this virus. So far 7,452 samples have been sent for genome sequencing in the state, out of which the report of 438 is awaited.
