Jaipur: In Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, the police has arrested a woman in the case of honeytrap. The woman is accused of having sex with the ticket collector victim in the railways by allegedly implicating her in a love trap and filed a rape case and demanded Rs 40 lakh. Sawai Madhopur Superintendent of Police Sunil Kumar said that the police station Batoda has arrested the accused woman Prakashi Meena in the honeytrap case. The hunt is on for the rest of the gang members.
He told that a case was registered in this regard in the police station Batoda. According to the FIR, a woman named Prakashi Meena befriended ticket collector Muniraj in Railways through a mobile call. Then after making physical relation, demanded 40 lakh rupees from him. A case of rape was registered for not paying the money. After registering a case and investigating, the evidence and call detail analysis found the case to be of honeytrap and behind this the role of a gang of five-six members including a woman came to the fore.

He told that the people of this gang would get the information about the financial condition, conduct and mobile numbers of the government employee or businessman and get friendship by calling the lady light. After that, physical relations were made by calling his victim to meet him in solitude.
During the physical relationship, under the pre-determined plan, other associates of the woman would come to the spot and beat up the person and demand immediate payment of money by showing the fear of implicating him in the case. On not paying the money, they would have filed a rape case and demanded money to resign and withdraw the case. The arrested woman Prakashi had earlier filed rape cases against bank workers, traders and others. Prakashi and his accomplices have gone to jail many times in these cases.
