JaipurRajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Saturday again said that the central government should take a quick decision on the ‘booster dose’ to protect against COVID, amid increasing cases of corona virus infection in the state and the country. Sharing the article published in the newspaper in this regard, Gehlot tweeted, “The Government of India is again requested to issue guidelines after taking an early decision regarding the booster dose.”
According to Gehlot, on the opinion of the state’s COVID-19 expert group, a letter has been written to the Prime Minister on November 19 and December 6 requesting the Central Government to issue guidelines regarding the installation of ‘booster’. Taking the opinion of experts, we first asked for ‘Booster’.

According to the Chief Minister, “Now many other states have also demanded from the central government for ‘booster dose’. The World Health Organization has also recommended a ‘booster dose’ because the immunity (to COVID) is decreasing in people who have been initially vaccinated. It is noteworthy that at present 244 patients of COVID are being treated in the state, out of which 43 people are infected with Omicron form.
