New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi once again attacked Prime Minister Modi and the central government regarding the foreign policy of the Modi government. Speaking on the President’s address in the Lok Sabha, he said, “We have been isolated due to the wrong policy of the Center, due to which China and Pakistan, which were to be kept away, have come together.” On this charge of the Congress leader, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar gave a befitting reply, reminding history.
The External Affairs Minister, in a series of replies, said, “Rahul Gandhi alleged in the Lok Sabha that it is the government that has brought Pakistan and China together. Perhaps, some history lessons are in order.”
He said, “Pakistan illegally handed over the Shaksgam Valley to China in 1963. China built the Karakoram Highway via PoK in the 1970s. There was also close nuclear cooperation between the two countries since the 1970s. The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor started in 2013. He continued, “So, ask yourself: were China and Pakistan far away then?”

Answer given on the question raised on Republic Day
With this, while responding to Rahul’s attack on not inviting any guests on the occasion of Republic Day, the External Affairs Minister said, “In the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi said that we cannot get foreign guests for Republic Day. Those living in India know that we were in the middle of a corona wave.” He said, “The 5 Central Asian Presidents, who were to arrive, held a virtual summit on January 27. Did Rahul Gandhi also remember it?”
Rahul Gandhi a confused person
Attacking Rahul’s speech, Union Parliamentary Minister Prahlad Patel said, “He (Rahul Gandhi) is a confused, mindless leader. He said that India is not a country. He said China’s point of view is very clear. Have you come here to support China? Tibet’s problem is only because of Congress.”

What did Rahul Gandhi say?
On China, Rahul Gandhi said, “The Chinese have a very clear vision of what they want to do. The single biggest strategic goal of India’s foreign policy has been to keep Pakistan and China separate. What you have done, you have brought them together.”
He further said, “Don’t be under any illusions, don’t underestimate the power that stands before you. You have brought Pakistan and China together. This is the single biggest crime you can commit against the people of India.”
At the same time, attacking the absence of any foreign guests on the occasion of Republic Day, the Congress leader said, “Ask yourself why you are not able to get guests on Republic Day. Today India is completely isolated and surrounded. We are surrounded by Sri Lanka, Nepal, Burma, Pakistan, Afghanistan, China. We are surrounded everywhere. Our opponents understand our position.”
