Punjab Election Results 2022: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has created history in Punjab. Arvind Kejriwal-led Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 92 seats out of the total 117 assembly seats in Punjab. Big leaders have flown in your storm. Veteran leaders like Congress state chief Navjot Singh Sidhu, former CM Captain Amarinder Singh and five-time CM Parkash Singh Badal have lost the elections with CM Charanjit Singh Channi.
Aam Aadmi Party has been continuously sharing reactions, speeches and even memes after its resounding victory in Punjab elections. In this sequence, as the party made an early lead in Punjab on Thursday morning, AAP celebrated the victory by sharing a video of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s superhit film ‘Chak De India’.
With the caption “AAP family right now”, the party shared a scene from the film where Shah Rukh Khan, overwhelmed with victory, first cries and then is seen smiling proudly. In Chak De India, Shah Rukh played the coach of India’s women’s hockey team, which led the team to World Cup victories along with 16 controversial players from different parts of the country.

In the assembly elections in five states, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is seen returning to power in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa, while the Aam Aadmi Party is seen forming the government with a huge majority in Punjab. In Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party is leading in 92 seats, Congress 18, Shiromani Akali Dal three and BJP two in all 117 seats.
Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has lost in both Chamkaur Sahib and Bhadaur assembly seats. Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Jeevanjyot Kaur has won from Amritsar East. Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu and Akali Dal’s Bikram Majithia have lost.
Not only this, AAP’s candidate Ajit Pal Singh Kohli has defeated former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in his stronghold Patiala. Punjab’s five-time Chief Minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Parkash Singh Badal has lost his stronghold Lambi assembly seat. He was defeated by AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Khudiyan in Lambi seat.
